This pre-owned Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch features the original reference number 311.32.40.30.01.001 and is part of a Numbered Edition inspired by Wally Shirra's Sigma 7 mission in 1962, marking it as the First Watch in Space chronograph. A stainless steel case houses an automatic mechanical movement (Omega Calibre 1861) with a 48-hour power reserve. The fixed bezel includes a black aluminium top ring for tachymeter functionality. This analog timepiece displays hours, minutes, and seconds via its three sub-dials: outer minute marker, central chronograph 30-minute dial, and peripheral second sub-dial (60-second). It also features a separate day/night hand that points to the correct designation on the black dial. The case is approximately 14 mm thick with a round shape measuring 39.7 mm in width. Luminous silver-tone hands and index hour markers enhance readability against the black dial face, which has an anti-reflactive coating for reduced glare. It comes equipped with a screw-down crown and a solid case back. This piece includes tachymetric capability to measure speed based on time traveled over a fixed distance. The original leather strap (brown calfskin) is included along with a tang clasp buckle system, ensuring authenticity. Water resistance reaches 50 meters / 165 feet. Swiss Made quality is assured.
